Censorship

This is an updated version of Ray Bradbury's scathing response to people who would like to censor his works, and to the idea of the need to censor so as not to offend the political aspirations and goals of any number of groups.

Novel Guides

Here is an internet version of a "Cliff's Notes" on the novel. It uses frames that start with a pull-down menu where you can select different parts of the book that provide summary and discussion. To return to the pull-down menu, hit your "back" button.
This site offers an excellent guide to reading Fahrenheit 451. Sections include a summary, character profiles, metaphor analysis, theme analysis, top ten quotes, and a biography of Ray Bradbury. The page offers the opportunity to purchase the book, which probably indicates the site is a marketing ploy, but the information is still good. I am not recommending that you purchase the book form this site, or any site or store. That is your decision.
